Darmstadt Indian Association (DIA) has been an important part of my journey as a student in Germany. The memories, experiences, and above all working as a team have significantly contributed towards my learning curve. The founding idea, of the association, itself has been well preserved and carried on through values, which is well evident through the work commenced. I am glad to have this opportunity to present my thoughts and I am certain that the light of DIA will only spread further.

We joined Darmstadt Indian Association during the beginning of 2018. We were formally assigned the roles of event management and public relationship respectively. The beauty of the small sized core committee is its flat hierarchy and everyone can get involved in any role he/she wishes or is required at a particular time.
Apart from getting the pleasure in serving the Indian community outside our
home country we got the exposure of organizing events and making new
friends in a foreign country.
